On the afternoon of October 18th, the "Experts’ Hebei Tour on Weekend" and the 4th Outstanding Young Scholars Forum - Academy Sub-Forum were held in the Lecture Hall 317 of the Vehicle Building. Jin Lisheng, Dean of the School of Vehicle and Energy, Tang Xianzhi, Vice Dean, and representatives of the faculty and students of the school attended the meeting.

Tang Xianzhi hosted the meeting and introduced the special guest, Wu Xiaohu, a researcher from Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology, as well as other young scholars who gave academic presentations to the attendees. Moreover, Dean Jin Lisheng presented a guest professor appointment letter to Wu Xiaohu.

In the meeting, Wu Xiaohu gave a special presentation titled "Design of Near Field Thermal Photovoltaic System Based on Hyperbolic Materials". Seven young scholars from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Chang'an University, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tongji University, Dalian University of Technology, Jiangsu University, and Beijing Campus of China University of Geosciences respectively made academic reports on their research directions, research topics and research results, etc.
