To deepen the cooperation between Yanshan University and local high-quality high schools and expand channels for obtaining excellent students, from November 25th to 28th, Li Nan, vice dean of the School of Vehicle and Energy, Xie Bo, director of the University's Undergraduate Admissions Office, and Chu Qingzhong, professor from the school, visited Heze City, Shandong Province for educational exchange and cooperation inspections. A plaque-granting ceremony was held to sign cooperation agreements for excellent student source bases with three locally renowned high schools: Shandong Heze No.1 High School, Shandong Shan County No.1 High School, and Shandong Shan County No.5 High School.
The delegation of Yanshan University had in-depth conversations with school leaders and some teachers from the three high schoolsduring the inspection and exchange period. Vice dean Li Nan introduced the history, discipline and program settings, teaching characteristics, and scientific research achievements of Yanshan University in detail, he also expressed the hope that through this cooperation, communication and contact between universities and middle schools could be further strengthened to jointly contribute to cultivating high-quality talents. Director Xie Bo focused on introducing Yanshan University's admission situation and graduates' employment prospects in recent years. He mentioned that Yanshan University has been committed to providing students with quality educational resources and broad development platforms, hoping that more outstanding students can choose Yanshan University to realize their dreams.
Chen Hongchang, vice president of Heze No.1 High School, extended a warm welcome to the delegation of Yanshan University and introduced the school's basic situation, school-running characteristics, and remarkable achievements in education and teaching in recent years. He said that establishing a cooperative relationship with Yanshan University as an excellent student source base would provide more options for students to further their studies and broader development opportunities.
Li Xinjun, member of the Party Committee of Shan County No.1 High School, and vice president Du Dehua attended the exchange activities. They introduced the development history, school-running philosophy and characteristics, teaching staff, and educational achievements of Shan County No.1 High School, and expressed their willingness to actively recommend outstanding students to apply for Yanshan University.
Miao Yufa, secretary of the Party Committee and principal of Shan County No.5 High School, spoke highly of the importance of this cooperation in his speech and introduced the school's achievements in educational innovation, school-running with characteristics, and comprehensive student development, he mentioned that this cooperation would open a new chapter in friendly exchanges between the two schools and help students achieve higher life goals.
The inspection and exchange activities not only built a platform for communication and exchange between Yanshan University and middle schools in the Heze area but also provided broader space and opportunities for cooperation between the two parties in the future.
