Training Session for Undergraduate Education and Teaching Review and Evaluation Held in School

September 26, 2024, 11:35:27In order to improve understanding of undergraduate education and teaching review and evaluation work among faculty members, and to effectively carry out the school's review and evaluation work smoothly, training of undergraduate education and teaching review and evaluation was held on the afternoon of September 25th in the Vehicle Hall 317. The training session was hosted by School Dean Jin Lisheng, and all faculty and staff of the school attended the training session.

Remarks by President Jin Li-Sheng

Vice Dean Li Nan made specific arrangements for the evaluation work of the school. Emphasis should be placed on standardizing the archiving of teaching archives such as course assessment materials, graduation designs, course designs, and production internships. Each major should make detailed plans for professional development and curriculum system construction, and faculty members should analyze and continuously improve the achievement of course objectives based on the teaching objectives and graduation requirements. Faculty members were advised to teach according to the training plan of professional talents and curriculum requirements, follow the teaching schedule, increase classroom attractiveness, pay attention to classroom discipline management, and improve ability to control class.

At the end of the training session, Dean Jin Lisheng pointed out that the undergraduate education teaching review and evaluation is a comprehensive test of the school's talent cultivation level and teaching quality. All faculty members must deeply understand the significance of review and evaluation, enhance ideological awareness, strengthen awareness of evaluation work, and establish a consensus on educating students. Simultaneously, faculty members must ensure that all tasks are effectively implemented, expedite the advancement of high-quality undergraduate education and teaching within the school, and thoroughly prepare for the review and assessment of undergraduate education and teaching.
