On November 22, a delegation of alumni visited the School of Vehicle and Energy for a dialogue and exchange. The group consisted of Wu Jun from the 1993 Metal Forming major, Yu Tingbao from the 1996 Mechanical Manufacturing major, Yu Gaowei from the 1998 Tourism major, Yu Yatong, Secretary-General of the Hangzhou Alumni Association and a 1999 Computer Science and Technology major, Liu Lizhu, Secretary-General of the Rubber and Plastics Industry Alumni Association and a 2001 Hydraulics major, Wang Yuehong, General Manager of Ningbo Shenglong New Energy Vehicle Power Co., Ltd. and Secretary-General of the Automotive Industry Alumni Association from the 2008 Transportation major, Dong Jianwei, General Manager of YanDa Bingyuan Technology Development Co., Ltd. Zhang Dianfan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Zhang Xin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Zhang Lei, Deputy Division Counselor, accompanied the visiting group.
Zhang Dianfan warmly welcomed the alumni back home and together with them, visited the school’s 20th anniversary history and culture exhibition, introducing the school’s educational history, development journey, achievements, and the spirit of faculty and staff.

A symposium was held in Room 319 of Vehicle Hall. Zhang Dianfan conveyed his appreciation to the alumni for their enduring support and care for the college, extended his greetings and well-wishes, and outlined the significant strides and developmental successes of the college in recent years. Wang Yuehong detailed the recent work accomplishments and updates on the automotive industry alumni association, and both parties collaboratively discussed the future development objectives and strategic plans. As for the current job market, attendees shared insights on the professional development and employment of graduates, with alumni offering constructive feedback on enhancing graduate employability and aligning talent supply with market demand. As the college celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, it presented the alumni with mementos commemorating two decades of educational excellence.
