On the afternoon of September 17th, Professor Guan Xin, the Vice Chairman of China Society of Automotive Engineers and the Dean of Jilin University's Automotive Research Institute, visited the School of Vehicle and Energy of Yanshan University. The Secretary of the School Party Committee, Zhang Dianfan, and Vice President Tang Xianzhi attended the event.

Professor Guan Xin visited some laboratories of the School of Vehicle and Energy, including the full-climate simulation lab capsule, the electric intelligent vehicle and vehicle-road coordination laboratory, and the Yanxiang vehicle team. He had an in-depth discussion with faculties and students such as Professor Xie Xianyi and Professor Li Menglin on relevant experimental sites, experimental equipment, and frontier research technology.

After that, Professor Guan Xin visited laboratories of the Energy and Power Department. Faculty members Zhao Deng and Pan Sanjiang introduced some equipment in the laboratory and discussed relevant research directions with Professor Guan Xin.

At last, in the school conference room, Zhang Dianfan introduced the development history and basic situation of the School, and conducted in-depth discussions with Professor Guan Xin on construction of School. Professor Guan Xin also provided sincere suggestions on the development of the School based on its disciplinary attributes and professional characteristics.
