Faculty from the School of Vehicle and Energy Attend the Second Forum on Talent Cultivation and Development of the Auto Industry in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province

From August 12 to 13, 2022, the secondForum on Talent Cultivation and Development of the Auto Industry was held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. Li Hao, Associate Dean of School of Vehicle and Energy, Li Xueliang, Deputy Director of Department of Vehicle Engineering, and Ma Bingxin, Key Teacher of Department of Vehicle Engineering, attended the forum on behalf of School of Vehicle and Energy of YSU. In addition, other faculty from the Department of Vehicle Engineering participated in the forum online.

This forum is themed by "Cross, Integration and Future-oriented Training of Outstanding Engineers". Discussions and exchanges were carried out around the discipline reform and outstanding engineer training under industrial reconstruction, output-oriented specialty construction and promotion path, curriculum reform exploration and practical experience under cross-integration, exploration and practice of collaborative education of production, education and research and innovation and entrepreneurship mechanism, and collaborative education of outstanding engineers. In addition, the representatives of the school had in-depth discussions and exchanges in this forum with Jilin University, Hunan University, Hebei University of Technology and many other universities on discipline construction, engineering education professional certification and other issues. Later, the participants visited the production and R&D base of BAIC BluePark Magna Automobile Co., Ltd., and had an in-depth discussion with enterprises on personnel training and scientific research mechanism.

Through the exchange and study of this forum, the Department of Vehicle Engineering of YSU will learn from the experience of discipline construction and personnel training of peer universities, conscientiously implement the mid-term improvement of engineering education certification, and further improve the university-running level and personnel training quality of vehicle specialty.
