On the afternoon of September 8, 2022, Han Jiwei, Li Kun and Lin Liping from the Human Resources Department of the affiliate of CNPC Bohai Drilling Engineering Company Limited visited the School of Vehicle and Energy for investigation and exchange. Yang Manping, Associate Dean of the School of Vehicle and Energy, Ma Pinghua, Director and Zheng Liming, Deputy Director of the Department of Petroleum Engineering, and some faculty representatives attended the discussion and exchange. Both sides discussed and exchanged in-depth issues such as talent demand, career development planning and university-enterprise cooperation. The meeting was presided over by Director Ma Pinghua.

Ma Pinghua and Zheng Liming respectively introduced the development history of Department of Petroleum Engineering, laboratory development planning, teaching staff, highlights and personnel training (undergraduate, master and doctoral) of laboratory. Han Jiwei and Li Kun also introduced the corporate culture, job demand, employee welfare, employee promotion channels and employment environment of CNPC Bohai Drilling Engineering Company Limited, recognized the professional training objectives and practical graduation requirements, spoke highly of the communication skills, hard work, practical operation and adaptability of graduates, and expressed the hope to further strengthen university-enterprise cooperation, expand the number of recruits, and contribute to the development of the petroleum industry together with the school.
Finally, the participants exchanged and discussed the demand of personnel training, the mode of personnel training, and the construction of industry-university integration projects, put forward the suggestions to enhance students' practical ability and on-site cognition and expressed hope that both sides will support each other, further deepen university-enterprise cooperation, conduct in-depth exchanges in student employment, joint training of talents, scientific research on oil drilling and production, establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, complement each other's advantages, and jointly write a new chapter of university-enterprise cooperation and mutual benefit.
