On September 10-11, 2022, Quality Development Event for Freshmen in 2022, sponsored by the Youth League Committee of the school and organized by Quality Development Center, was successfully held in the South Square of the College Student Activity Center of the East Campus. This event is intended to make students better familiar with the campus environment and class students, and exercise their willpower and teamwork ability.

This quality development event consists of five parts. First is an ice-breaking trip. By introducing yourself and remembering other people's names, hometown and hobbies, the students are familiar with each other and eliminate the estrangement. The second is to play the game of "50 cents and 1 yuan". By randomly shouting out a number, everyone can quickly and freely combine and hug together. The sum of men and women shall be equal to the shouted number. The third is “passing water with paper cup”, and the simple game let everyone realize the strength of unity. The fourth is the sandbags. All the team members shall cooperate to dodge the flying sandbags, which enhances the cohesion of class. The fifth is to take a group photo. The students took a group photo with the flag of the School of Vehicle and Energy, and further felt the warmth of the big family of school.

As the part of freshmen's entrance education, this quality development training provides freshmen with a platform to understand their classmates and challenge themselves, so that everyone can learn to meet college life with a more positive attitude.
